About

About Vallarta Sailing Foundation

Vallarta Sailing Foundation is a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to advancing sailing and sailor development in Mexico.

Founded in 2015, the Foundation helps sailors of all ages pursue opportunities to train and compete at regional, national and international levels. We also support youth sailing, training equipment, sailing programs and major regattas that strengthen the sport in Mexico.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support sailors who aspire to compete at regional, national and international levels and to elevate the profile of sailing in Mexico.

We advance that mission by funding youth programs, training resources, competition opportunities and major sailing events throughout Mexico.

More Than a Decade of Support

Since our founding, Vallarta Sailing Foundation has provided funding through more than 100 grants.

Foundation support has helped sailors progress from local and national competition to North American and world championships. VSF has also promoted and sponsored major sailing events in Mexico, including the Optimist North American Championships, ILCA World Championships and J/70 North American Championships.
